According to ancient wisdom tradition, we live in one of the most auspicious and exciting times ever! Apparently, we chose to be here now because we all have something important to contribute. That is if we can shed the dark cloaks we don from past generations. If we can accept that our energy field is like a giant desktop of this and all past lives (that’s a lot of constricted thoughts ) we need the technology to up-level ourselves. That’s where Ayurveda’s tool box comes in super handy. It’s actually a survival kit. If the tools aren’t utilized they’re useless. Which makes it easy to understand what Ayurveda says is the root cause of disease – prajnaparadha – crime against wisdom! It means knowing what we should and not doing it or knowing what we shouldn’t do and doing it anyway. Most of us have an idea when we’re out of balance, yet, it’s soooo difficult to get people to embrace healthful habits. Ayurveda gives us a very clear directive on daily, seasonal and age related habits to help us to live vibrant and healthy lives. Why is this so hard? Because the ego mind only knows the past and the familiar and is totally resistant to change. I am a passionate person about learning these wisdom practices and applying them to my life. It’s pretty hard to do without guidance – I couldn’t have made the changes without the coaching of my teachers and I was ready and willing. Oprah Winfrey talks about how a Life Coach was powerfully important for her evolution. As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach, I like to start with habits and making small, incremental changes. This is a proven method for creating lasting transformation. Often concepts are simple but not necessarily easy! One of the first places to start is just to simply recognize that “thoughts proceed everything”. I began this awakening journey by learning, then becoming a Chopra Certified Instructor in meditation. I encourage you to commit this 2019 year to a consistent meditation practice! While it may seem boring or inconvenient, it will change your life for the better! Most have a difficult time bringing this practice into their lives (I did!). That’s why I absolutely recommend getting instruction to help anchor this most important habit. Better to start with even just 5 minutes a day rather than once a week or once a month. I found the Chopra Center’s course invaluable and have not missed one day of meditating since February 2009 when I took it. I loved it so much and it changed the course of my life so I soon after became a certified instructor. Let me help you learn to meditate with comfort and ease! This is a practice that will give back to you for the rest of your life! Remember, thoughts proceed EVERYTHING. Meditation is the place to start to be aware of your thoughts. Change your thoughts, change your life! Let’s go!
